Wishlist
You don’t have to guess what gift you should give me. Rule of thumb when you are about to get someone a gift: think it through. It should be something you know the person wants, not what you want¹. It should be something not too big, because while it’s okay to not be right with your gift, at least you didn’t clutter their space.
Making a good gift is good for your friendship, good for the environment, and may be good for you as well: if you get a nice gift, it would be nice to give back something as well! Think cookies, a thoughtful note, or even a recipe you are proud of.
